Dr. Mike (a.k.a ‘Scott’s Dad’) is originally from Panama City, Florida. He moved to Georgia (a few) years ago to attend Emory University and later Emory Dental School where he graduated with a D.D.S degree.
Dr. Mike served in the U.S. Air Force and later went into private practice in Lithonia, Georgia. Dr. Mike recently sold his practice of almost forty years. Dr. Mike stays busy in his ‘semi-retired’ life at McKenzie Family Dentistry. Dr. Mike is an avid history buff and also enjoys genealogy. Dr. Mike is very active in his church and enjoys spending time with the family (and occasionally getting roped into babysitting).
